Launched by the Education Bureau, “The Scholarship for Teachers” is dedicated to high-performing full-time serving teachers who would like to pursue higher qualifications. Applicants should have served as regular teachers for at least five years in local primary or secondary day schools; and enrolled into a local part-time master’s degree programme in 2023/24 conducted by a local higher education institution specializing in one of the following ten areas (Catering for Learner Diversity, Chinese Culture, Chinese History and History, Educational Leadership, Guidance and Counselling, Information Technology in Education, Language Education, Parent Education and Home-school Co-operation, STEAM Education and Values Education). Each successful awardee will receive a Scholarship of HK$80,000.
The Scholarship is open for application from 16 May to 13 June 2023 (Tuesday). Teachers who wish to apply for “the Scholarship for Teachers” should submit the application form to the Education Bureau by 13 June 2023 (Tuesday). Details of the Scholarship can be found on EdB’s.
