Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is likely to announce the first merit list for undergraduate programme admissions on 8th August, according to an official notice on its website. The deadline to submit online applications for UG courses was 2nd August.
The pre-enrolment registration and fee payment to secure seats for the first list will tentatively take place from the 8th to the 11th August.
For the second merit list, JNU will release it on 16th August and candidates will have to complete pre-enrolment registrations and fee payments between 22nd and 24th August.
The university will subsequently release the third merit list on 22nd August and the fourth and final one on the 7th September. Pre-enrolment registration and fee payment for the fourth list will be open on the 7th and 8th of September.
Prospective students must complete their registration and admission process by 15th September.
JNU holds the second position in government rankings. For undergraduate admissions, the university is accepting scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).
CUET-UG scores will be applicable for admission to various programmes, including BA (Hons) in foreign languages, integrated BSc-MSc programme in ayurveda biology and all certificate of proficiency programmes.
