Army Institute of Management Kolkata (AIMK) has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the commencement of a promising partnership with Sarsuna College affiliated to the University of Calcutta, to promote academic excellence and inter-institutional collaboration. The MoU outlines key focus areas, including faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research and academic publications, faculty deliberations, co-hosting of academic events and socio-cultural programmes. This collaborative approach will enrich the educational experience of students, exposing them to diverse perspectives and in nurturing a global mindset.
The customised programmes on Heritage Management and Disaster Management by AIM Kolkata will be a key highlight, combining the expertise of both institutions for a comprehensive and immersive learning experience. Sarsuna College will contribute by conducting workshops on Geographic Information System (GIS), Remote Sensing (RS) and their applications in urban management, hazard/disaster management and other relevant topics. Additionally, both colleges will jointly organise seminars and conferences on topics of mutual interest and engage in joint research projects.
