- Students have time until September 20 to secure their spots in open and distance learning programmes
The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the admission deadline for the July 2023 academic cycle across all programs offered in both online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) modes. This extension grants aspiring students extra time to secure their spots, with the new deadline set for September 20.
However, it’s important to note that this deadline extension does not apply to certificate and semester-based programmes. Prospective candidates eager to enroll in the diverse range of ODL programmes can complete their registrations via the official website IGNOU.
For those interested in online programmes, the registration process is available online.
A non-refundable registration fee will be levied, in addition to the programme fees for the first semester or year, at the time of admission. It’s important to be aware that if a student applies for the cancellation of their application, a certain deduction will be made.
Furthermore, after 90 days from the date of admission, no refunds will be provided for cancellations. It’s worth noting that the initial admission deadline had previously been extended until September 10.
