- For individuals seeking admission to the Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) programme, it’s essential to hold a bachelor’s degree with no less than 50 per cent marks
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai will be taking into consideration the scores from the Common Admission Test (CAT) as a factor for admission.
Application fees for open-category candidates stand at Rs 2000, while it’s Rs 1000 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
For individuals seeking admission to the Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) programme, it’s essential to hold a bachelor’s degree with no less than 50 per cent marks or an equivalent CGPA. However, this criterion is relaxed to 45 per cent for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
As for those applying for the MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management, a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks is required from a recognised university. This requirement can be met through disciplines like MSc (Mathematics), MSc (Statistics), a five-year Dual Degree (Maths and Computing), or a four-year BS/BTech (Economics). For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, a 5 per cent relaxation is granted.
Students in their final academic year can also submit applications if they meet the criteria for examinations taken until the current date. They must also complete their remaining examinations, viva voce and related processes before joining the institute.
Looking ahead to CAT 2023, the exam is scheduled for November 26, with three separate sessions. The IIM Lucknow is the organising body for this year’s CAT. Admit cards will be downloadable starting from October 25. The examination will be held across 155 cities, affording candidates the option to pick any six preferred test cities.
During the CAT registration process, candidates will need certain documents at hand, including a valid email address, phone number, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, college transcripts, ID proof, a provisional certificate for the final year (issued by the college), relevant category certificates, and a PwBD/disability certificate if applicable.
