- Collaborative initiative to create educational programmes for aspiring sports enthusiasts
Royals Sports Group-owned franchise, Rajasthan Royals, has officially inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The University of the West Indies (UWI). This collaborative partnership aims to co-create specialised educational programmes tailored for the next generation of sports enthusiasts.
The MoU signing took place at The University of the West Indies campus. Jake Lush McCrum, Chief Executive Officer, Rajasthan Royals and Dr Akshai Mansingh, Dean, Faculty of Sports, University of the West Indies, affixed their signature to solidify the agreement in the presence of West Indian cricketing legend, Daren Ganga, who currently serves as a project officer with the university.
The curriculum will be developed by industry specialists including John Gloster, who is the current Head Physiotherapist of the Rajasthan Royals and has previously served as the Indian men’s cricket team’s head physio.
The Royals School of Business and The University of the West Indies are also in the process of finalising the Advanced Sports Nutrition Programme and are planning to announce the launch in the next few months.
