- Leadership Talk Series aims to nurture leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit among its students
TMU Moradabad, a private University in Uttar Pradesh, hosted Naveen Jha, senior fellow of the Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) at Harvard Business School and the CEO of Deshpande Foundation, as part of its Leadership Talk Series.
In an insightful discourse, Naveen Jha addressed the university’s eager students, delving into the intricate nuances of leadership and its profound impact on nurturing the potential of future leaders. He emphasised the transformative power of entrepreneurship and encouraged students to actively contribute to solutions that drive the economy forward.
Jha envisioned students as catalysts in India’s quest for a USD 30 Trillion Economy, particularly highlighting the potential in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where entrepreneurship is burgeoning. He inspired students to discover their purpose, tackle intricate issues and let their experiences guide them toward audacious life goals.
Adding to the event’s significance, Manjula Jain, Dean of Academics and President of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), shared insights with the students. She announced the university’s commitment to project-based learning and revealed that TMU IIC would provide comprehensive assistance to any student aspiring to become an entrepreneur. Jain also excitedly disclosed the upcoming launch of Hackathon, providing all students with the platform to think and act like entrepreneurs.
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, expertly moderated by Prof. Geentanshu Dawar, the Convenor of TMU-IIC.
