Woxsen University’s Annual Convocation Ceremony 2023 concluded on Saturday, with a focus on nurturing future thought leaders in an ever-changing world. The event brought together graduating students, parents, industry leaders, distinguished guests and dedicated faculty members, all united under the theme “The World is Your Canvas.”
Graduates received degrees at the event from the Chancellor, the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour. Bhattaram Apoorva Vaishnavi and Priya Dhatri Dammalapati, both MBA students, Umar Kayamkhani, a BBA student and Vysyaraju Sri Bhuvana, a B.Des. student, were the Gold Medalists from the 2023 batch.
Mamtha Madireddy, the Chief Guest and Head of HSBC India Global Service Centres, inspired the graduates with a message of resilience, stating, “Each one of you is at the cusp of the next stage of your life. You must recognise and accept that there will be ups and downs in your career and you must embrace both equally.”
Guest of Honour Lakshmi Kodali, Sr Director, Global People, ServiceNow, congratulated the students and stressed the importance of integrity in leadership, emphasising, “One important pillar of being a leader is to have integrity. You need to do the right thing even when no one is watching.” Madhavi Chalamalasetti, another Guest of Honour and Sr Vice President Talent at Deloitte University, shared valuable insights from her professional journey, highlighting the significance of individual choice and perspective.
Praveen K Pula, Founder & Chancellor of Woxsen University, expressed his pride in the institution’s global reputation, stating, “We are truly a global school. Today, I am proud to say that people are looking up to Woxsen University.”
