CUET PG 2023 Results Declared: Over 4.5 Lakh Candidates Apply for Diverse Courses

  • The National Testing Agency announces admission process for 197 universities using CUET scores, with popular subjects attracting thousands of applicants

The Common University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) 2023 results released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday evening.

Candidates’ results have been shared with the universities where they had applied. The universities will now proceed with the admission process.

In total, 4.59 lakh candidates, including 2.49 lakh women, applied for 4,597 courses. Among them, 197 universities are set to admit students based on their CUET (PG) scores, consisting of 39 central, 45 state government, 10 government institutions, and 103 private and deemed universities.

CUET saw significant interest in various subjects, with general tests, general MBA test and political science emerging as the most popular, attracting 37,815, 31,764, and 29,160 candidates, respectively. Additionally, history, life sciences, and English garnered considerable interest with 18,381, 20,647, and 19,982 candidates appearing for the exams, respectively. Notably, the exams were rescheduled from June 22-30 to accommodate students who couldn’t participate from June 5-17.

This year, the examination schedule was adjusted for 60 courses, including mathematics, commerce, political science, and chemistry.
